Max My Speed Dot Com – Don’t Do It – Scam

Max My Speed Dot Com

Max My Speed Dot Com

Another advertisement for on line pc computer repair on TV tonight –, using there paid software.
Decided to check this site with clean running, no problem laptop here. This laptop just had it’s hard drive replaced, and Windows 7 operating system installed just the day before, running better than new, with no problems.

MaxMySpeeds software is free to download and can use to analyze your computer for “problems”. It appears to be a simple registry cleaner. Fixing all the problems found with this free download prompts you to “activate” which is purchase the software. There are many completely FREE registry cleaners that will do the same.

Test system: Dell Studio 1555 laptop, new Samsung Hard Drive, Windows 7 newly installed, clean operating system just the day before. Laptop has no problems, running better than new… used just for this test.

MaxMySpeed found 180 errors on this laptop! False diagnosis with there software. The average user, or senior citizen can easily fall for this scam and pay for, activate the software to correct these so called problems. And a worldwide TV advertisement can make them some BIG bucks!

There advertisements shows various people most likely paid and working for this company stating how “fast there computers are now”. It takes much more detailed work to speed up ones computer or laptop then just cleaning the registry. There are also many FREE system registry cleaner that will do the same job. Just another television scam advertisement!

I can’t believe people fall for this kind of stuff. It;s actually sad that a national TV station would allow this kind of fraud.
